Our Beacon Still Shines!
Hi, it’s me, Anna Nash. This year has been a year like no other. While we have seen true kindness and compassion all around us, I don't think any of us could have predicted the isolation and displacement that 2020 would bring. So, where does that leave Beacon People?
In Matthew 5, Jesus says, "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
Our beacon still shines. And although it feels dim, it is still strong. The future of our ministry is bright as many people, whose lives have shifted due to the events of this pandemic, need to find purpose and direction more than ever.
For the remainder of 2020 I, along with our board of directors, am prayerfully evaluating where Beacon People can be the most impactful for those needing guidance and encouragement during this time. We hope to bring Beacon People back in 2021, with a brighter light and clear direction to guide, connect and launch people forward in God’s calling.
Please keep us in your prayers as we wait to see what God has in store for our little organization. And if you feel led to contribute to the future of Beacon People, we would accept your gift with sincere gratitude. You can go HERE to give.
#beFree and show love through your actions every day. Nothing can stop God’s light from shining through you if you are willing to follow Him.
