What is Beacon People

Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant community of purpose-driven individuals by creating meaningful connections, providing guidance, and offering continual support as we collectively strive to fulfill God's calling.

Much like ships rely on beacons and lighthouses for safety and direction, our innate desire for connection and guidance steers us towards meaningful relationships, community, and personal growth, anchoring our being in pursuit of a higher purpose.

Who are we?

We are a community where individuals can discover and live out their God-given purposes. Through our initiatives and gatherings, we focus on personal development, encouragement, and connection, helping people grow spiritually, lead meaningful lives as we trust God to build His Kingdom on earth together.

What We Believe

  • We believe that God is the Creator of the universe—everything that was or is or ever will be, including us. The goodness, truth, and beauty found in creation are a reflection of His glory.

  • We believe that God created every person to fulfill specific purposes He has for this life and into eternity. As believers in the gospel*, we choose to step into those purposes, which are for our good and His glory.

  • We believe that the Bible is God’s Word to us concerning all of life. In a sense, it is a letter of love from the Father to us, His children. The Bible is without error and, when properly understood, will never lead us astray. Everything we do at Beacon People is based on the foundation of truth laid out in the Word of God.

  • Our personal assignment from God is to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20). In doing so, we fulfill our God-given purpose to offer hope to a world in need of peace and redemption. The ways in which we undertake this calling are as unique as we are. Knowing that God has made each one of us with special gifts, talents, and desires, we must learn to connect who we are with the stories we have lived. As we seek God’s heart in this, we discover the purpose-filled lives and true community we were meant to experience.

*The gospel is good news for needy, hell-deserving people, like us. If we have faith in the sin-forgiving death and hope-giving resurrection of Jesus Christ, the result is everlasting, all-satisfying joy.

“I'm struggling to find Christ's calling for my life vocationally.”

“I feel a bit lost in terms of how to have a career and faith that work together.”
