Me, me, pick me!

This week is getting kind of crazy on our calendar with: 

Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and today -  GIVING TUESDAY!

I just wonder what the Wednesday of the week following Thanksgiving will turn out to be one day? 

Anyhow, today is Giving Tuesday and it has become quite popular! 

"#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving."

I believe there is a slight possibility that people are driven to give to make them feel just a bit better after crazy spending the last 3 days. Well, for whatever reason you will be bombarded today with non-profit organizations asking you to give to their cause. 

For me, as I scroll through social media today, on #GivingTuesday, its as if every 501 out there is screaming, "Me, me, pick me!"

So, I guess Beacon People will jump in and request a piece of your year end giving. But first, I want to make sure you know what you are giving to!

If you choose to give to Beacon People you are giving directly towards a movement of Kingdom Building. Beacon People is all about guiding, connecting and launching people into higher purpose living. God's command in the great commission is our highest call!

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel."
