We believe in:

The Creator—We believe that God is the Creator of the universe—everything that was or is or ever will be, including us. The goodness, truth, and beauty found in creation are a reflection of His glory.

The Creation—We believe that God created every person to fulfill specific purposes He has for this life and into eternity. As believers in the gospel*, we choose to step into those purposes, which are for our good and His glory.

The Core Belief—We believe that the Bible is God’s Word to us concerning all of life. In a sense, it is a letter of love from the Father to us, His children. The Bible is without error and, when properly understood, will never lead us astray. Everything we do at Beacon People is based on the foundation of truth laid out in the Word of God.

The Commission—Our personal assignment from God is to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20). In doing so, we fulfill our God-given purpose to offer hope to a world in need of peace and redemption. The ways in which we undertake this calling are as unique as we are. Knowing that God has made each one of us with special gifts, talents, and desires, we must learn to connect who we are with the stories we have lived. As we seek God’s heart in this, we discover the purpose-filled lives and true community we were meant to experience.

*The gospel is good news for needy, hell-deserving people, like us. If we have faith in the sin-forgiving death and hope-giving resurrection of Jesus Christ, the result is everlasting, all satisfying joy.
